    Floor Nine

The render queue is empty. The panel's robots slip onto an invented factory floor for one quiet race. Touch four flags in order; flag 4 sits on the platform called THE NEXT ITERATION. Nobody is ever hurt: robots just reboot, a little sheepishly.

    How to play

    1. Program. Each round you get 9 cards. Put 5 in your registers, in order. Tap a register to take a card back. Suggest fills them for you.
    2. Run. Register by register, every robot plays its card at once. The higher priority number moves first. Robots in your way get bumped along, unless a wall stops them.
    3. The floor acts after every register: fast belts, then all belts, then pushers, gears, crushers (registers 2 and 4), then every laser fires. Robots fire a small front beam too.
    4. Damage (from beams) means fewer cards. At 5 damage your last register stays locked from the round before; more damage locks more. At 8 you reboot. Wrench pads and flags repair 1 at the end of a round.
    5. Reboot if you drop in a pit, roll off the floor, get caught by a crusher, or take 8 damage. You come back at the last flag you touched, facing north.
    6. Option chips come from purple crates (2 at most). Mirror Shield bounces the next hit back. Ghost Step and Overclock are armed for one round when you lock in.
    7. Win by touching flags 1, 2, 3 and then 4, THE NEXT ITERATION.

Runs only in your browser. No accounts, nothing stored, nothing sent anywhere. Make it your own: the map, the board elements, the robots and the chips are all small definitions at the top of floor9.js.
